We employ a custom five-step process to work with potential clients to make certain we are a good fit. 

1. It all begins with a phone/video call. 

Our initial call is one of the most important facets of the travel process. Each traveler is unique and it is my job to tailor an itinerary to your exact specifications. I will ask numerous questions during our call to understand your expectations for travel, as well as any important travel considerations.

During this call, you will have the opportunity to share your hopes and objectives so I can best guide you toward attainable travel goals. We will also discuss important dates and deliverables so you clearly understand what comes next.

Before we meet for the call, please have approximate dates of travel, destination, the number of travelers, and a minimum luxury travel budget in place. The initial call will last approximately forty-five minutes. 

2. Let’s get to work!

Once travel expectations have been set and the retainer consulting fee has been agreed upon, I will send a travel profile form for each person traveling, as well as credit card authorization forms, and travel insurance forms. These forms contain important information to effectively plan and execute your travel itinerary so please take the time to fill them out completely. The more information you provide, the better I am able to manage your travel. At this time, I will also complete the retainer consulting fee process.

Once the retainer fee has been paid, I will begin work on the planning process of your itinerary with options for flights, lodging, cruise itineraries, and other primary travel reservations.

3. Finalizing Plans

As the reservation process is completed, please expect a flurry of communication as important supplier terms & conditions and cancellation/change policies must be agreed upon verbally and/or in writing. At the time of the initial trip deposit, I will also recommend travel insurance for your travel investment. 

Once plans are finalized and deposits paid, relax while I handle the finer details of your arrangements including tours, restaurant reservations, spa appointments, and other travel concierge needs.

At this time I will also custom-build an itinerary for you, keeping all your reservations in one place. You will be able to access this itinerary by desktop or mobile device, with every aspect of your plans available at your fingertips.

4. Get ready to travel!

A few weeks before you travel I will finalize all details and send the final travel documents to you. As part of my hand-tailored service, I will also reconfirm all reservations prior to departure. Please read through your travel documents thoroughly so any unanswered questions or concerns can be resolved before travel.

Post-Covid travel can be precarious and I am with you every step of the way with urgent services to handle flight delays, travel interruptions, or other issues that may arise, My urgent services are available 7 am – 11 pm ET daily. Emergencies outside these hours will be handled on a case-by-case basis and may incur an after-hours fee.

5. Welcome home! 

Once you are unpacked and settled at home, I will follow up with you to find out about your journey, usually with a post-trip questionnaire and/or phone call. I love to see happy travelers, so feel free to share photos and comments with me.

I am not looking for the “one-and-done” budget traveler. It is my intention to develop long-term partnerships with discerning luxury travelers, managing every aspect of a travel request for years to come. Because I dedicate so much time to each travel itinerary, I accept a limited number of clients each year so I can best manage my existing client portfolio.
