Travel Insurance is an important component of travel but many travelers overlook it. Insurance can reimburse you for any unforeseen expenses including trip cancellation, trip delay, luggage delay and lost luggage, medical costs, etc.
As a professional travel advisor, it is my duty to advise my passengers to purchase travel insurance to protect their travel investment. Travel insurance must be purchased within seven (7) days of initial trip deposit to cover any pre-existing medical conditions. As a travel professional, I can recommend and sell travel insurance, but I cannot advise you on policy information and coverage. Please look over your insurance quote and coverage carefully.
Many travelers have some form of travel insurance with their credit card company, and if so, great, but make certain it covers all your travel plans. You want insurance that will cover all your travel costs including airfare, cruise, tours, ground transportation, medical expenses, trip cancellation, trip delay, lost and damaged luggage, etc.
I work with several travel insurance companies including Allianz, Travel Guard, and Travelex to provide the best rates and coverage for your needs. I have links for Travel Guard and Travelex below. If you wish to purchase from Allianz, please contact me for a customized quote.
Note: If you decline travel insurance through Wander & Bloom Travel, you will be required to sign a waiver.
